I live right in the heart of the Appalachian mountains. One of the most popular hobbies that most West Virginians share is four-wheeler riding. It's not unusual to get a gang together for a day of ridin', sight-seein', and maybe even campin'. West Virginians are known for their country cookin'. After a day of ridin' in the mountains, it's nice to go to grandma's house for some of her homemade goodies. I raided her recipe box and stole some of her best ones. Click here to visit grandma's kitchen and let her treat you to some good ole country cookin'.
Ridin' all day can sure make you dirty. Grandma is really good at getting out any kind of spot or stain that you could imagine and she has taught me everything she knows. Click here to see some of my spot cleaning tips.
I work at a nursing home as a phlebotomist. I spend a lot of time with the residents so I thought I would make a page so you could visit with them too. We have a great facility thanks to our administrator who makes sure every resident is loved and cared for (she is also my aunt). Click here to visit with the residents. They love company.
